Hi all,
This week mum and I visited a couple more shops on the quilters trail, rather than boring you with all the details I will share just one highlight......
I have been on the look-out for this book since it came out, I am so pleased to have it now. There are so many great designs and ideas for boys (obviously) in this book. A must have if you have males in your life!
I also have some sneak peeks to share!
First is the quilt I am working on for the "Little Quilt Swap", see my side bar for the button and link......
Second, a stitchery I have designed especially for Caboolture Sewing Machines 2010 quilt competition which has the theme of "Opposites", they don't do much hand work at the shop but I'm hoping it strikes a cord......
I am still learning the colouring technique, as you can see, but I love the extra dimension it gives to your work. For a great example check out Cheryl's Under the Sea BOM (link is on my side bar).
Be Happy,
Jess xo

This book has some lovely quilts in it. I saw them in person when I did my weekend with Anni in March. They are even nicer in real life. I wonder which one you will choose. I love the ones with the big quilting stitches.
Seems like you had fun on the Quilter's Trail. It's always fun to go shopping.
You've been very busy; not only did you visit various quilt shops but also been sewed up a storm. I love the beginning of your stitchery (I'll keep my fingers crossed for that machine) as well as the sneak peak of the "swap quilt".
