Holiday snaps & butterfly bag!

Hi all,

We had an interesting holiday. It rained so much the first 2 days we thought about calling it quits and coming home. But it is such a beautiful spot that we decided to tough it out - and then the sun shone!

Pondering the rain clouds out at sea!

This is only about 20m from our campsite!

We had a great time and we will keep going back to this spot - it is one of my fav's!

Of course none of the sewing I took with me got done but that should probably have been expected!

But I did finish this bag once we got home....

It has been a UFO for a long time and when I saw these bag handles at the Patchwork Tree in Alderley (on the bus trip) I knew I could cross it off my to-do list!

Be happy,
Jess ;-)

lovely butterfly bag! Had to laugh as I also always take lots of sewing on my holidays and I very rarely do anything at all. Glad you had a lovely time with your family! Your kids look sweet, from what I can see of them ;) Cheers

Hi welcome back. Are you refreshed and invigorated? Head bursting with new ideas or just happy to be home and in familiar routine? The holiday spot looked beautiful and I am not surprised that you want to return.

Sounds like a wonderful holiday destination. Can't beat a relaxing time at the beach. What fun the boys would have had at the beach.

Aww Jess, those boys are just gorgeous....I bet it was hard for them (and you!) raining out your camp!!!!! Just as well that sunshine came out....looks like it was well worth the wait! Usually when I'm organised and have something ready to do while I'm away....nothing gets done, but if I don't....that's when it's needed! As they say, better to be prepared! The butterfly bag is too cute...love the colours!
