The trip out to Gatton was really nice, the boys behaved themselves (and slept a bit) on the drive, the weather was fantastic and the company was lovely!
We left early and had breakfast at Kilcoy, boy was it cold! But we enjoyed a cooked picnic of bacon, eggs, sausages and hash browns.
Then we headed out to the Quilters Trail Muster .....
There was a phenomenal amount of prizes, any would have been great to win....however I didn't really expect to win anything, which was good because I didn't win! (That's Penny from Patchwork Angel, sorting out prizes).I was surprised at the amount of ladies that had already made up the quilt that we collected the kit for on the trail....
This is only half of the finished quilts. The winning quilt is the cream one, third from the right. Her buses had photos of the women that went on her bus for the trail.Now, you really have to check out the giveaways going on at Sew Mama Sew!
There are about 250 blogs all giving something away, I have found some fantastic prizes!
You have until the 20th May, so you only a couple more days to get in and have a go!

Hi Jess, Looks like you all had a great day out. Did you collect all the blocks on the trail yourself? Does that mean you have a bit project to do? How is your machine quilting going? Sorry for all the questions but your machine quilting was looking very good.
