Hi all,
I joined in with a swap for house shaped potholders and have been working on them over the last week.
It took me a while to decide what to actually do but I came across this great garden print in my stash and that set the ball rolling….
I am really pleased with how they turned out. I didn’t have a pattern so I was winging it. I should have measured them but they are approximately 8” wide x 11” tall.
I found some fabric with people dancing on it so I put that in the windows…there’s a party goin’ on!
I even broke into my Hometown layer cake to make the roofs, I love the red roof!
I hope my partner likes them!
There was a sewing day today at Christine’s….I sewed like crazy but need to do some pressing before I take a picture of my minor achievement!
Great company, great food (awesome muffins made by Christine) and uninterrupted sewing time equals one very happy girl! Thanks Christine!

They are fantastic. I love the Moda chimney. I wish I could have joined you all yesterday.
Sew cute!
You did great with the theme for the potholders, they look great and your partner will be sure to love them. I wish I lived closer so I could have been at Christines. Glad you achieved a lot.
Wow, you did an awesome job...particularly given you didnt have a pattern..I love the people in the windows and the flower beds out front, so cute! Happy quilting, Sue.
