I have exciting weekend plans!

G'day all,

(Do you know I say "G'day" all the time, to everyone? I don't know why it just pops out! Also, I say "cool" a lot - can you see I grew up in the 80's/90's? LOL)

So this weekend as been in the works since November. I booked in as soon as I heard about it! And it has finally arrived! Now though I am actually feeling a bit nervous!

Kellie from Don't Look Now is coming all the way up to Patchwork Angel at Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast for a workshop!

I am looking forward to it. I think it will be pretty full on, 2 big days, not only for me but also for hubby who will be looking after the boys. I haven't done many classes since BW was born 20 months ago. Anyway, I just thought this might make you a bit green! LOL

I was thinking about the above project today, so I got it out and had a look. It is an original design, taken from a picture of my older son when he was about 18 months. So I haven't touched it for quite some time - he is now 4.
I originally started it for a Jinny Beyer competition (I don't think I would have had the confidence to enter it), but I'll finish it for me! I might try and tackle this one very soon!

I hope everyone, especially my followers who I really appreciate, are keeping well,
Be Happy, Jess

Yes you have made me a bit green. The workshop sounds fabulous, what a treat! I have seen her blog and one of the ladies in my quilting group did a workshop with her and speaks very glowingly of the experience. Your picture of you son is beautiful and you MUST finish it. It is very artistic and will hold lovely memories for you. Of course you will have to make something similar for your other son.

I'm doing a workshop with Kellie in July, I can't wait to hear all about yours. I hope you get to finish the design of your son, it's wonderful.
