I have also made a start on my first block for the Don't Look Now quilt-along.
I have asked Kellie if the petals need to be square on the background block. The answer is probably going to be yes, which will make this block become a cushion! Either way I will let you know in my next post.I have challenged my hubby to finish his project before I finish this Josephs Coat quilt. He is building some radios. So we shall see who wins!
I am just starting a two week break, as the boss is going away, whoopy! So I am looking forward to getting some sewing done, and then some housework! In that order! Ha Ha

Your clucky and chicks are so cute. I have the pattern and must get onto it. I have done a few Melly and Me's. aren't their tuesday tips great for softies? Your JC is wonderful, Just check out those points and the colours are a great choice.
the family of clucks are just so sweet - i have a little one which would love those baby chicks! My mother was lovely enough to make my kids some of the melly and me patterns and they just love them, as do i. The colours for the quilt along are lovely and if it does become a cusion then its a cusion to match the quilt - i am sure we all have a couple of those floating around ;-)
